Just Dance...and lose your mind.

Okay so I am probably one of the only people who LOVE Just Dance by Lady Gaga (and yes a lot of it has to do with the sight of Danny and Jon on stage during the concert - had to throw a NK reference in, didn't I?) but never really listened to the words because I was always trying to get my mug on camera. I finally did last week and wow - this song describes some nights I've had out at the clubs to a big fat capital T.

The song is seriously bringing back memories of me, drunk off my ass, dancing like a crazed maniac because there was nothing else I could do without falling over.

It’s like, you seriously have not lived if you have not had a ‘Just Dance’ moment at a club. I admit I have lost my keys, lost my drink, drank someone else's drink, fell flat on the dance floor (although I do hold the queen of falling on the dance floor to my friend Leilani), thought I lost my cell phone, and pretty much had a playboy mouth that I wish I could shut.

HOWEVER - I have not turned my shirt inside out.

“I love this record baby, but I can’t see straight anymore!” Classic Katrina at around 1:00 a.m. at any given club circa 1996 – 2008 (okay, 2009, I totally forgot about two weeks ago).

Anyway I thought that was funny and worth sharing :)

  2. at first i didn't like this song. i remember telling jenn a few months back that at first i didn't like lady gaga, but now i do. i love hre music so much i downloaded all of it on itunes. this song really reminds me of drunken days in the club, or partying out in some field (yes country girl here) and breaking out dancing. i remember nights of dancing, partying till the sun came up, looking for my pager-no cell phones at the time-and mom's car keys. lmao! good blog kat! i can't wait to party with you in greenville on the 17th!

  3. Love the song, of course that has a little something to do with Danny and Jonathan. I don't think I had even heard the song before the concert in Boston. Never had a drunken moment though. Oddly enough, I feel I can relate because of the Ambien. I totally understand the "I love the record baby, but I can't see straight anymore" feeling. Good times. :)
